In short: the files you convert or edit on MediaPilot are processed in your own browser and are never uploaded to us. Like most free websites, we use Google Analytics to understand traffic and Google AdSense to show ads, and both use cookies.

Your files

Every MediaPilot tool runs inside your web browser. When you open a video, image, Word, Excel or PDF file, it is read and processed on your own device. Your files are not uploaded to any MediaPilot server, and we never see, store or share them. Closing or refreshing the page discards them.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited, how long people stay, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location (country or city) derived from your IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We use this information only in aggregate, to improve the site. Advertising

MediaPilot is free because it shows ads through Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Settings stored in your browser

The site remembers your theme (light or dark) and language choice using your browser's local storage. These settings stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Other services

Some tools download their processing engine when you first use them. For example, the video tools load their video engine from the jsDelivr content delivery network. Like any website, that service receives your IP address to deliver the file; none of your own files are sent to it.

Cookies

Cookies are set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above. MediaPilot itself does not set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tools keep working without them.

Children

MediaPilot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
