Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. MediaPilot adds the numbers entirely in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.

How do I skip the cover page?

Set "Start at page" to 2. The cover stays unnumbered and the next page gets number 1 — or set "First number" to 2 if the cover should still count.

Can I continue numbering from another document?

Yes. Set "First number" to where the numbering should continue, for example 25.

What about pages that are turned sideways?

Each number is placed at the bottom (or top) of the page as you see it, reading the right way up, even on landscape and rotated pages.
