How to remove a logo or watermark from a video
- Choose your video. MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, MKV and WMV files are supported.
- Mark every position. Drag a box over the logo on the preview frame. If the mark appears in more than one place, add a box for each. Lower corners and Top corners add boxes in the usual logo spots in one click.
- Choose a finish. Pick the gentlest option that hides the mark (see below), and adjust Mask expansion if a faint outline is still visible.
- Download. The cleaned video is saved as MP4, with the original sound kept when the file has it.
The video is processed on your own device. It is never uploaded. Keep the tab open until it finishes; long or high-resolution videos take a while.
The four finishes
| Finish | What it does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Reconstruct | Fills the area from the pixels around it, frame by frame | Small logos over plain or slowly changing backgrounds |
| Soften | Blurs the area so the mark is no longer sharp | Busy or moving backgrounds where a fill would look odd |
| Pixelate | Turns the area into large blocks | Hiding a phone number, a name or a number plate |
| Crop away | Cuts the edge of the frame off | Marks close to an edge; leaves no artefacts at all |
Mask expansion grows each box by a few pixels. Raise it if a thin halo of the logo is left behind; lower it if the cleaned patch looks bigger than it needs to be.
Please use it responsibly
This tool is meant for videos you made or have the right to edit: for example removing your old channel logo before re-uploading your own clip, hiding a burned-in timestamp from a dashcam or security camera, or blurring a private detail before sharing. Removing a creator’s watermark from their video does not give you permission to re-post it, and platforms treat that as copyright infringement.
Tips for the best result
- Boxes stay in the same place for the whole video, so a logo that moves around needs a box for each spot it visits.
- Keep boxes tight. Bigger areas are harder to fill naturally and take longer to process.
- If you only need part of the clip, trim it first so there are fewer frames to clean.
Frequently asked questions
How big can the video be?
Up to 800 MB. How fast it runs depends on your device; a computer is much quicker than a phone for long videos.
Is the sound kept?
Yes. The original audio is added back to the cleaned video when the file has a sound track.
Why does the cleaned patch look smudged?
The background behind the mark is moving or detailed. Try Soften, or Crop away if the logo is near an edge.
Is my video uploaded?
No. All processing happens in your browser.
